These baskets are handmade from natural palm by artisans in Southern Mexico. Palm weaving is a form of artistry that dates back centuries in various states of Mexico. Every one of these skilled individuals learned their craft from a family member, who in turn also learned from previous generations.
While the work involved in their creation is intricate and time consuming, these baskets are minimalist, eco-friendly, and celebrate local traditions. They are as functional as they are beautiful, and are available in a choice of two sizes. Ideal for the beach, market days, stashing fresh towels in the bathroom or housing a plant.
